#### Objectives:

#### Lesson Structure:
**Introduction (10 minutes):**
1. **Greeting and Warm-Up (3 minutes):** Engage students with a brief discussion about their favorite stories or books. Ask them what makes these stories interesting to them.
2. **Objective Briefing (2 minutes):** Explain the goals of the lesson.
- “Today, we are going to learn about creative writing and the elements that make a story engaging. Then, you’ll have the chance to create your own story!”
3. **Understanding Creative Writing (5 minutes):**
- Define creative writing and its purpose.
- Introduce the five key elements of a story (setting, characters, plot, conflict, resolution). Write these on the board and give a brief explanation with examples from well-known stories.
**Body of Lesson (35 minutes):**
4. **Story Starter Activity (10 minutes):**
- Divide students into small groups (3-4 per group).
- Hand out "Story Starter" cards to each group.
- Each group spends a few minutes brainstorming creative ideas based on their starter card. They should consider setting, characters, plot, conflict, and resolution.
5. **Group Sharing and Discussion (10 minutes):**
- Each group shares their brainstorming ideas with the class.
- Discuss the different elements they included and provide positive feedback.
6. **Individual Writing Time (15 minutes):**
- Students return to their seats.
- Prompt students to individually write a short story based on any idea they feel inspired by. They should include all the key elements discussed.
- Remind them to be creative and use descriptive language to make their story engaging.
**Conclusion (10 minutes):**
7. **Sharing and Feedback:**
- Allow a few students to share their stories with the class (voluntary basis).
